About Revelare Recovery Center
Welcome to Revelare Recovery, the women’s behavioral health treatment center in Atlanta, GA, that can help you achieve lasting healing and empowerment. At Revelare, we strive to provide our clients the support they need to overcome mental health conditions, such as Depression or Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), primary Eating Disorders (EDs), and Substance Use Disorders (SUDs). We proudly offer personalized, evidence-based treatment programs for women based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). Our compassionate and inclusive approach provides you with the tools and resources to live free from the challenges that brought you to Revelare.
Our Mission and Core Values
We exist to help women recover through individualized, evidence-based treatment programs that treat the whole person, not just the diagnosis. Four values guide how we work:
Compassionate empowerment
Meeting each woman where she is.
Holistic healing
Addressing body, mind, relationships, and nutrition together.
Authentic connection
Recovery happens in relationship, not isolation.
Courageous growth
Building skills that outlast the program.
Our Clinical Approach
Our clinicians build every treatment plan on evidence-based modalities and adapt them to each client. The backbone is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), supported by trauma-informed care and, where appropriate, DBT, RO-DBT, EMDR, ERP, and IFS. Our team layers in individual therapy, group therapy, nutritional counseling with a registered dietitian, psychiatric medication management, and family support – so a woman arriving with an eating disorder and a co-occurring substance use disorder is treated for both, by the same coordinated team.
This is a whole-person model. It’s why nutrition, psychiatry, and family work sit alongside talk therapy rather than being referred out.
Our Treatment Programs for Women
At Revelare Recovery, we offer comprehensive, evidence-based treatment programs. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) for women are designed for co-occurring diagnoses of an Eating Disorder alongside a secondary Substance Use Disorder or another mental health condition. Overall, our eating disorder treatment for women includes the following:
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Nutritional counseling
- Medical monitoring
- Psychoeducation
- Family therapy and family support groups
The Revelare Recovery team also provides access to extensive community resources for our clients’ ongoing wellness journey. Our programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of women, with an emphasis on developing adaptive coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, interpersonal skills, and relationships.
Phase 1: Partial Hospitalization Program
During Phase 1, in the partial hospitalization program setting, clients begin with orientation and psychoeducation, followed by ACT-based treatment components and EFFT-based family involvement. Clients receive support and guidance from our experienced treatment team and participate in individual and group therapy sessions.
Phase 2: Intensive Outpatient Program
In Phase 2, in the intensive outpatient program setting, clients focus on relapse prevention, consolidation, and integrating skills into daily life. The IOP phase includes individual and group therapy sessions where clients can reinforce ACT and EFFT principles and provide support and peer interaction.
Accreditation & Trust
Revelare Recovery is a licensed behavioral health provider and is LegitScript certified – an independent verification standard that Google and major platforms require of legitimate addiction and mental health treatment providers. Our programs operate in accordance with Georgia state licensing standards for outpatient behavioral health care. When you’re vetting a treatment center, these credentials matter: they confirm we meet recognized clinical, ethical, and safety standards.
