Our Mission

At Revelare Housing, we believe in empowering women through a community-centered approach to supportive living. While Revelare Housing is not a treatment facility, our program plays an important role in supporting recovery by offering a safe, structured place to live while clients participate in external clinical care.

We understand that healing and personal growth happen both inside and outside of treatment. Having a supportive home environment can make a meaningful difference in helping women feel grounded, connected, and capable as they move forward.

What Is Supportive Housing?

Supportive housing provides a structured living environment for individuals who are actively engaged in behavioral health treatment. It bridges the gap between intensive treatment and independent living by offering stability, accountability, and daily support.

At Revelare Recovery, supportive housing is designed to complement clinical treatment, not replace it. Residents attend treatment through Revelare Recovery while living in a space that encourages responsibility, routine, and community outside of therapy hours.

A Structured Path Toward Independence

Revelare Housing is designed for women seeking a balance of independence and support while participating in treatment. Housing is offered on a short-term rental basis, recognizing that treatment needs and readiness for independence can change over time.

As residents progress in their treatment, expectations around independence gradually increase — while support remains consistent. This structure allows women to practice daily living skills, build confidence, and prepare for life beyond structured care in a way that feels supported and manageable.

Life Skills & Daily Living Support

Developing self-efficacy and practical life skills is a core focus of Revelare Housing. Residents actively participate in maintaining their living space and contributing to the household as part of building long-term independence.

With the guidance and oversight of housing staff, residents develop skills such as:

  • Meal planning, preparation, and execution
  • Laundry, cleaning, and household organization
  • Time management and daily routines
  • Shared responsibility within a community setting

These experiences help women build confidence, accountability, and a sense of ownership over their daily lives — skills that support lasting success after treatment.

Nutrition Support & Meal Accountability

  • Revelare Housing places a strong emphasis on supporting healthy relationships with food and nutrition. Residents work collaboratively with a Registered Dietitian to develop an individualized meal plan that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.

    While residing in housing, clients:

    • Participate in family-style meals

    • Receive support and oversight around meal completion

    • Are monitored for post-meal behaviors when clinically appropriate

    • Have access to weekly groceries stocked to support their meal plan

Clients are also welcome to purchase outside food if desired. Housing staff and the Registered Dietitian provide accountability, encouragement, and guidance to help residents build consistency, flexibility, and trust around nourishment.

Medication Safety & Observation

To support safety and accountability, medications are stored securely in a locked area within Revelare Housing. Housing staff observe medications at required times, helping residents develop safe and responsible medication habits while reducing risks associated with misuse.

Transportation & Daily Support

Housing staff provide transportation to support residents’ daily needs, including:

  • Transportation to and from scheduled treatment programming each day
  • Off-site 12-step meetings (four days per week)
  • Store runs two to three days per week
  • Medical appointments as needed
  • Weekly peer outings

These services help remove barriers to care while supporting engagement, connection, and daily structure.

Safety, Privacy & 24/7 Support

The safety and privacy of all residents are a top priority at Revelare Housing. The home is equipped with appropriate safety measures, and policies are in place to ensure confidentiality and respect for each individual’s journey.

Revelare Housing is staffed with 24/7 awake support, providing additional accountability, guidance, and safety outside of treatment hours.

Family Involvement & Visitation

Revelare Recovery recognizes the importance of family involvement in the healing process. Family therapy is prioritized during treatment and typically begins during the third or fourth week, allowing time for trust-building between the client and clinical team.

Family sessions may be conducted in person, virtually, or by phone.

Visitation is supported and encouraged with structure in place to protect all residents’ privacy:

  • Day passes may be approved after the initial adjustment period, typically beginning in the second week of residence, based on clinical and housing team guidance
  • Overnight and weekend passes may be approved after 30 days
  • Visitors are not permitted on-site to maintain confidentiality, but staff coordinate off-site visits
  • Visitation is scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays to avoid interfering with treatment programming

Housing staff work closely with families and clients to ensure visits feel supportive and aligned with recovery goals.
